Girlhoods

GirlhooDS is a 60-page fanzine dedicated to the Nintendo DS, a console that shaped how many of us played and expanded ideas of who games could be for.

The zine explores girlhood and gaming through an archive of the titles I grew up with, interwoven with personal reflection and cultural commentary — a nostalgic love letter to both the console and the experience of growing up with it.
